VINTAGE Lancaster Cigarette box Brass Acorn Top Green rectangle ~ EUC

Description

Vintage Lancaster Crystal green cut glass hunter green cigarette box with acorn top handle.  Inside is two take out ashtrays.  1920's?
Excellent vintage condition, the only thing I notice is a very tiny chip on the lid rim, have to run your finger over it to notice.  Brass knob could use a cleaning.

Little info on the box -
Glassware made by Lancaster glass company is considered Elegant Glass since the glass went through at least one and sometimes two or three finishing processes after it emerged from the kiln.  And, since the company was only in operation from 1908 to 1937, any example in this condition, this beautiful, is rare and very special. The cigarette box has a star burst design in its bed, on the lid, and in the ashtray.  The cigarette box is divided, holds a small 3" x 2" ashtray, and has a stunning lid with a brass acorn finial atop it.  There is just a very tiny chip on the lid rim, but you have to run your finger over it to notice.  It's very old, very heavy, and very old Hollywood. Wonderful vintage item!!
