Here's a time-warp from 1961, an unused, non assembled
Heathkit
kit tube amp preamp model AA-131
Kit includes what you see in pics:
Full manual/book
Chassis
Transformer
AC Power Cable
Astron USA Can Filter Capacitor
Caps, Resistors, pots, switches, knobs, etc.
fuse and fuse holder
Screws and hardware
A bundle of unopened wire
A few unopened bags of components
Original packing material
Original 1961 OEM box
59 years later, I can't be certain all of the components are still there or still work, though they should.
Electrolytic caps may need a slow charge up (See below).
Enthusiast build this out/collectors keep it NOS. (read more below)
If you're savvy re-tool it into your device of need [tube phono preamp, guitar tube gain/driver (Alembic, Twin Tube, Chandler), mastering leveling amp (LA2A, Gates), classic microphone preamp (Altec, RCA), etc.].  Beef it up and make it a tube amp.  The platform is there for the taking.
In light of the box being open I'm adding in some extra components/freebies:
1/4" jacks x4 (guitar in/out)
A1Meg Potentiometer
.1uf/630v x1
.022/630v x1
10uf/500v x2 (add these if there's 60 cycle hum)
tube shields with bottom retainers x3
9 pin tube sockets x3
Right now there are no tubes (6EU7 x3).  I'm working on getting some, will update the listing if so.  In all reality you may wish to revise the unit with 12AX7s of your choice.
