The Crown DL2 Controller/Preamp was the best of the best that Crown produced. These are very rare andvery hard to find, They almost never come up for sale. The last one listed was mine, and sold within an hour after being listed. I am sad to sell this one, but have to down size my audio collection. This one is in excellent shape for its age, everything seems to be in working order.
Crown DL2 is a diggitally controlled preamplifier and control center designed to be sonically pure and versatile in control.It will control or mix up to nine seperate inputs and two main outputs,Other outputs include mono,inverted,headphone.tape,processor, and buffer.It contains a unique shelving tone control system,a variable loudness contour system,and adjustable high and low filters.The volume control is very accurate,digitally switched and displayed(in 1/2 dB increments)gain control.The DL2 applications consistof sonically superb home hi-fi usage and commercial broadcast automation systems when coupled to a mini computer.
Because this is vintage, it is being sold as is no returns, also because of Ebays return policy, and that some buyers remove parts and return complaining it is not working I am forced to sell this as is parts or repair absolutely no returns. I have a 100% feedback and plan to stay that way.
